Amy T. Lee
Associate. Amy T. Lee has been practicing immigration
law since 1995. She has worked on a broad range of cases, including removal
hearings in immigration court, family and employment-based immigration,
and naturalization cases. She has successfully represented clients before
the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and both clients and the
U.S. government before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration
Appeals.
Amy is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She
has been a speaker for the Association for Corporate Counsel (ACC), volunteered
her time at the Pittsburgh Public Library for pro bono immigration counseling
nights through the Contra Costa County Bar Association and written several articles
on employment-based immigration for the Contra Costa Lawyer magazine.
Amy completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Stanford University
in 1992, then went on to earn her juris doctor, with distinction, from
University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law in 1995. Amy also holds
a Master's in Public Administration from the California State University
at Hayward. She is fluent in Cantonese.
Amy was born in San Francisco and traces her roots to Hong Kong and Toishan,
China. She grew up in the East Bay and currently lives in Hayward
where she is a coach for Special Olympics, is an adoption counselor for German
Shepherd Rescue of Northern California and spends free time hiking with her
dog and playing competitive badminton.
