Increase in I-9 Audits of Employers

As a result of a new strategy to reduce unlawful employment, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) has dramatically increased the number of
audits of workplaces for I-9 compliance. ICE is focusing on holding employers more accountable for their hiring practices. The I-9 form documents each
employee’s identity and authorization to work in the U.S. and must be completed by the employer for every employee hired in the United States. For additional
