USCIS Proposes Increases in Filing Fees

On on September 24, 2010, U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) announced a proposed rule to increase filing fees under the headline "Fee Schedule: Federal Register Sep 24, 2010" . The proposal shows an average increase in filing fees of 10 percent but does not increase the naturalization application fee. If approved, the increase will take effect on Nov. 23, 2010.
