R Visa

An R-1 visa is a non-immigrant visa for persons entering the United States to work as a minister or religious worker. In order to qualify for an R-1 visa, the applicant must have been a member of the religious denomination of the prospective employer for at least two years prior to applying for the visa and the sponsoring employer must be a religious organization with non-profit status in the United States. Spouses and minor children of an R-1 may enter the United States under R-2 status. Please contact our office for more information.
