The regulations regarding the 20,000 additional H-1B numbers will be published this Thursday, May 5, 2005, and will go into effect next Thursday, May 12, 2005. The 20,000 additional H-1Bs will only be available to individuals who hold a master's or higher degree from a U.S. Institution.
